Yachting Queensland Junior/ Youth Sailing Camp & Regional Coaching Regatta a Success
 
The Yachting Queensland Junior and Youth Camp was held over the weekend 25-28 September at Maroochy Sailing Club with coaches Mark Tonner-Joyce and Nathan Outteridge. Mat & Nick – Latest World Rankings
 
Australian Sailing Team members Mat Belcher and Nick Behrens recently returned from the Olympic test event in China and World Championships.
 
“We are happy to report that with the release of the latest ISAF World Sailing rankings we are now ranked 4th in the world, our best world ranking since Nick and I started sailing together in late 2004”.

Healthy Reefs Resilient to Cyclones
 
A comprehensive report into the effect Cyclone Larry had on the Great Barrier Reef is now available on the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) website.
Senator Campbell said data from recent monitoring indicated the new Green Zones throughout
the Great Barrier Reef were showing substantive positive benefits.

Camp Quality Kids Take Special Reef Trip Off Yeppoon
 
The reef off Yeppoon will come alive this weekend for more than 40 Camp Quality children and their families visiting the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
 
The trip is possible thanks to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority donating $15 000, the proceeds of the Eureka Prize for Biodiversity Research and employee fundraising.

125 Association Open Day
 
On Saturday 21 October 2006 the 125 Association will be holding the second heat of its South East Queensland Titles.
