Feature Club – Townsville Sailing Club

Situated on the Strand in Townsville, the Townsville Sailing Club has been active since 1900.  The name of the club, its location and the classes it sails may have changed over this time but the strong pride in the club has not.

The club sails all off the beach boats with a strong early history in skiff sailing.  The sailing school and junior development at the club are strong.  The annual North Sail Camp in September provides the highlight of the year with dinghy sailing and race training.
