Queensland Whales Safe With GBRMPA

A central role of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is to promote the protection of whales on the Queensland coast.  Whales use the Great Barrier Reef as a safe place to breed between May and September.  GBRMPA works hard to provide you with an extensive range of information about how you can assist in the protection of wildlife.  Please see www.gbrmpa.gov.au for more information.  If you find any sick, injured, stranded or dead whales while on Queensland waterways please phone the EPA on 1300 130 372.
